We went to Murraywood for rehab because uncle wanted to walk again. Staff was very helpful and kind. Uncle was given meds from hospital and after 24 hrs didnt want to stay. Never talked to doctor but he worked with us on meds. Uncle believed meds took vitality out of him and didnt want to be in a Nursing Home ... he wanted Rehab. We took him home because its his life and choice.

We love Merry Wood, they treat our mother and us like family. They do a wonderful job making sure every resident is taken care of and it’s refreshing to see how serious they take the responsibility of knowing that the residents rely on them not just for daily care or assistance but many don’t have family who can or will visit regularly and they take those residents as their own and provide companionship and TLC standing in the gap for them.

My brother and I were invited to come for a tour to see if it was a place we’d like to have our dad do short term care after a major heart operation. We were taken around the entire facility and the place was clean and smelled nice. The staff was very friendly and our sweet tour guide answered all our questions and was very informative. We saw that there were a lot of opportunities for the residents to participate in group activities or not as they preferred. We also have 24-7 access to him if need be. That’s important for us to know we can get to him at anytime day or night. We were impressed snd decided to move forward with getting him in a room there. I’m really hoping we have a great experience once he’s there and suspect we will

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
