I have never visited the facility because I live in Florida. But I am related to a resident and just yesterday her son suddenly passed away. A relative that lives there in Jasper went to tell her the news in person. They refused to let her tell this news of her son’s passing instead they informed her they would tell her themselves. Now how is that possible? How could they be so cruel? They do not even know the details of his passing. This is one of the most unprofessional practices I’ve ever heard of. I am not done with this , I will make sure there is some kind of accountability for this horrible behavior if I have to make my way from Florida to insure it. They don’t answer the phones either I have called there 12 times over the past couple of days, and there is no answering machine so I guess I would have to send the police if there was a urgent message that needed to be passed on to the resident. I know that the state of Alabama would NOT agree with the way this facility is being run
