Was sent to South Hampton Rehabilitation after knee replacement. The rehab staff was the worse, would only spend about fifteen minutes a day and still no serious rehabilitation. The staff refused my request to walk the halls, was confined to my room.
After two weeks I checked myself out, went home and started rehabilitation at TOC. Should have gone home, alone, and started therapy at TOC.
In addition to very poor rehab the food was the worse I have ever eaten.

If I could give a zero Star review, I would. My mother contracted COVID-19, pneumonia, and strep from the staff. They would call to tell me they were giving her a Tylenol but not that they put her on oxygen because she had set up pneumonia and her oxygen level was seriously low. When informed of the Covid, the reaction was as if they didn't care or concerned. I was the first to notice a bed sore, not the staff. They also failed to inform me of the infection seeping from her back incision. It turned out to be MRSA staph that set up in her spine. Because of this, she lost all use of her legs. Disgraceful. She had to endure 2 major surgeries that could have been avoided. The quality of care was subpar to say the least. And she was only there for rehab. I hate to know how the long-term patients are neglected.

Thank you South Hampton for providing my Grandmother with great care and rehab. Your care allowed my Grandmother to have a safe place to regain her strength before going home. I appreciate you all!

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
What to do next
Data is a starting point, not a final answer. We encourage families to visit facilities in person, observe daily routines, and speak with staff and residents. See our guide: Questions to Ask When Visiting →
