My father is currently in this place for therapy on his legs. Which he has not received. He has not received his insulin (they say they give it to him in a pill form but there is not a pill for insulin), he barely is getting food, when he does it’s disgusting and rock hard. When he tries to get someone to bring him pain meds it’s a few hours or more to receive his meds. No communication at all. No changing of sheets. There is dried blood on a pillow that’s almost a week old. They won’t address the bruising on his stomach. He’s in worse shape than he was when he arrived. I would not recommend this place to your worst enemy not let alone your loved ones. This is not how you treat a United States Veteran.

Thankful for the guidance I received from Alexa in admissions and helping me with my father. Our family had no idea where to start so having someone walk us through the steps to help my father get long term care placement at this facility was helpful. Amazing facility with amazing staff.

I am resident here, when I first came here I couldn’t walk or talk. I had no support system. Because of social services she was able to crack that open. I couldn’t not do anything, my boys were busy and their lives more chaotic then mine, when I came here a lot of answers where provided to me by Brooklyn. Angelina in activities is a champ, they are all amazing. Emma has helped a lot when Brooklyn isn’t here. I miss my boys everyday but I am glad I am here

My family member has been at ridgecrest, and the overall care they have received is beyond words. The nursing staff has been amazing, unit manager Felicia and DON Marlyin and the nurse Nina. The social services team Jenn, Emma and Brook has been very helpful in the overall care and guidance during this time. Nina has provided beyond excellent care and attention, as well as several CNAs who all deserve their own round of applause. The department heads are on the units every morning as well offering assistance to residents and staff. However this review that Jim and Patty jones has left is inaccurate of the actual people who work here. She had created a hostile environment within Rridgecrest. My loved ones room was within close proximity of her loved one, and her yelling and insults created a very uncomfortable atmosphere while she was within the building. She would scream at the social workers, turn around and go insult and belittle them as soon as walking out the door which was something I saw with my own eyes. She was beyond disrespectful to nursing staff as well. She would scream, insult and belittle staff. Overall very disrespectful. Her review should not be what catches your attention at ridgecrest. The clean facility, excellent staff, decent food, and activities speak for themselves. Thank you

Best facility I have stayed at! Some of the people there went Above and beyond like Alexa in Social Services, when I arrived they made me feel so welcome! This facility should be used as a example on how to run Skilled Nursing Homes!

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
