  Ridiculous. After a major surgery, my grandfather was sent here, developed pneumonia & had fluid building up around his lungs which was slowly suffocating him to death over the course of 3 days. His breathing was obviously awful & getting worse. He received little to no attention to his medical needs here until family noticed during a visit the severity of his condition & demanded an ambulance. The hospital said he was on death's door & wouldn't have survived the night if they hadn't brought him when they did. His lung had collapsed from the pressure of the fluid in his chest, & he was on a ventilator for weeks. It took over 2 months just to be able to have a conversation with him again. We will never trust this place again. Their carelessness almost killed him.

  No place is perfect. All businesses will always have ways they can improve. This is the case for Heritage. They aren't perfect and there are always little ways they could improve, but THEY WORK HARD AT TRYING! Their staff worked to learn me and what I needed. All departments show that they are trying to meet the patient's needs. The therapy staff that Antoinette paired me with were cream of the crop! Dean and Angie, I can't thank you enough! I would not have made it to where I am without your help. Every little thing you did to get me better was noticed and appreciated. I am thankful that the doctor sent me to Heritage Living Center for rehab. I am even more thankful that everyone from the nurses, to CNAs, to administration cared enough to pay attention to my needs and want to get me back home.
