  남편(85세)에게 피치못할 병 치매로 말미암아1년 가까운 시간을 병원(ER),Nursing Center,양로호텔(지금거주중임)을 전전 하든중<br>인생에서 직접겪기는 처음인 이모든 과정에서 곁에서 감당하고 해결해 나가기에는 정말 힘든 부분이 많았다<br>하지만 때로는 역시인간이기에… 하는<br>사람들의 훈훈한 온기로 인해 힘이되어 주기도 한 일들도 적지 않았다.<br>그러던중 마지막 회복을 위해2개월을 머물렀던<br>곳이 이곳 LaPalMaNursing Center 였다<br>다리의대퇴골 부분이 부러져서 응급 수술을 받고<br>양로병원으로 옮겨야 한다면서 병원측에서<br>SunMar 와 LaPalmaNursing Center 중<br>선택권을 주셨다.<br>마침 얼마전 교회친구가 라팔마센터에 입원중일때 심방을 왔다가 이 센터에서 너무 잘 해 줘서 오히려 귀찮을 정도라고 칭찬을 하면서 나중에 나갈때 비지네스 카드를 하나 가지고 가라면서<br>그냥하는소리로 한국메니져 티나 라고만 했다<br>불과 한달 전 이야기 였다<br>마침 찾아보니 명함이 있었다. 전화를 했더니 안받기에 메쎄지만 남겼더니 얼마후 리턴콜 이 와서 설명했더니 곧 준비 수속하겠다고 하더니 오후4시쯤 옮기게 되었다.<br>처음 도착 했을때는 다소 의사( 다른언어의)소통이 안 되는듯 했으나<br>자고나니 한국분 들의 일사분란한 각자의 맡은바 들을 잘 해 주셔서 금세 적응 되는것 같았다.<br>간호사,엑티비티,레크레이션.예배 ,사소한 질문과요청…등에 내 일, 내가족 처럼 최대한으로 빨리 처리해 주시는 부분들이 정말 우수하고 고마왔다<br>특히 티나(한국 프로그람디렉트…)씨는 맡은바 본분에 대해서 넘치도록 감당하는것 같았다.<br>때로는 근무시간외인 밤 늦은시간에 부탁을 해도<br>어떻게 해서 든지 담당자 에게 연락이 닿게 해결을해주며 아니면 웬만하면 자신이 직접 해결해 주는 열성이 정말 보기드문 근무 자세였다.<br>모든 근무자들을 보면서 역시 우리 한국분들의 예절바른 메너와 성실함이 뿌듯하며proud 했다.<br>앞으로도<br>어느누구에게 추천해도 손색이 없을것같다.<br>계속해서 한국근무자들의 건투와<br>센터의 발전이 무궁하기를 진심으로 바라고<br>응원합니다.<br>고마웠읍니다.   My parents resided at La Palma nursing facility recently for 3 months. It has been a truly wonderful experience.<br>The staff was very professional yet kind and understanding.<br>It’s not simple having to place your elderly parents in nursing care but I was reassured<br>and witnessed that they were in excellent hands! I can’t thank enough the great staff.<br>Thank you all for having made our difficult journey so much lighter!

  I truly believe that the Korean Worship and Praise Program at La Palma Nursing has been a great blessing. Thanks to the teachers’ loving care and devotion, I have seen my mother’s dementia symptoms improve little by little. I am deeply thankful for the kindness and care shown to my mother and our family.
