I am a patient in Ramona nursing facility and rehabilitation right now. Let me tell you about the administration they are a bunch of liars, they lied to the state inspectors, they allow the maintenance worker to have access to the shredder bin with all our sensitive information they lost my medical paperwork and lied to the state that they found it in a locked shredder bin that they shouldn't have keys to. The food is horrible I have had spoiled food brought to me multiple times I no longer eat the food in this facility

we were pressured by our doctor to have our brother in law be staying in this convalescent house. We had a weird feeling about it and turns out our gut feeling was right. The employees arent able to provide any proper care to their patients and abandon them in their rooms. There are some patients on wheelchair screaming all night and some crazy ones just non stop screaming at staff all night long. We were there to get our family stronger but physical therapy was confusing; we attempted to call the supervisor but could never be found.

there are other retirement homes i have looked at in the area and they might be better

My mother was at this location for about a few weeks after her second amputation. I tried calling the front desk many many times and nobody would answer. Someone finally answered and then hung up on me. I was trying to call my mother on her cell phone but she wasn't answering so that's why I was calling the front desk but after an hour of calling and no answer, my brother had to go in person and knock on the doors just after visiting hours were over to get their attention and check on my mother.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
What to do next
Data is a starting point, not a final answer. We encourage families to visit facilities in person, observe daily routines, and speak with staff and residents. See our guide: Questions to Ask When Visiting →
