Joy, at Palomar Vista Health, truly embodies compassion and dedication. You can immediately tell that she genuinely cares about the people she serves and deeply loves what she does. Her warmth, empathy, and kindness make such a difference. She goes above and beyond not because she has to, but because her heart is fully in her work. Palomar Vista Health is incredibly fortunate to have someone as caring and committed as Joy. I’m so grateful for her support and highly recommend her to anyone in need of guidance and encouragement.

PT department was great, management, social services, CNA were incompetent. Worst of all was the Nurse Practitioner, Jusac Suryanata. He sedated my friend to the point of drooling on herself, did not want to reduce the dosage, wanted to add more medication so that the patient would behave and would be more compliant because she was acting out according to him , even thouugh my friend couldn't even get out of bed and had TBI. NP would make threats if you didn't comply with his medication regimen that my friend would be kicked out and on the street and even charges pressed against her because of her aggressive behavior towards staff. Really? A disabled person with a brain injury who can't get out of bed is going to be put in jail if she doesn't comply with you completely sedating her? He also disregarded the medication recommendations of her outside psychiatrist, he thought he knew better. Unprofessional, poor bedside mannners and neglegent. He should have his license revoked by the Board of Psychology.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
What to do next
Data is a starting point, not a final answer. We encourage families to visit facilities in person, observe daily routines, and speak with staff and residents. See our guide: Questions to Ask When Visiting →
