I want to thank Alhambra for the care of our mother. We have been caring for her for the last 7 years but her decline with Alzheimers brought her here. I want to thank the staff for all their efforts and help. We come 4-5 days a week and are able to spend time and chat with other residents. This is not an easy feat for the staff. I want to give a special shout out to Nancy, the events coordinator for putting on a wonderful valentine's event for the families and residents. Coordinating and directing the residents into the room (herding cats π ) providing food and games. She worked so hard! As did her helpers. There were hurdles to get over but she did it! Thank you Nancy and Alhambra!

Horrible communication, they rarely answer the phone.

Their website says a patient can receive IV pain med but when asked they said don't do that even though they do IV antibiotics. I looked at multiple sources and they all say I can receive it. But I'm being denied it, only being given oral meds that barely work. I'm not wanting to get anyone in trouble but what the hell? Website says one thing and I'm being told another thing and then being told another thing, like what am I supposed to do, just suffer in pain or do I have to make a case? Because I will if I have to

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data β the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
What to do next
Data is a starting point, not a final answer. We encourage families to visit facilities in person, observe daily routines, and speak with staff and residents. See our guide: Questions to Ask When Visiting β
