A family member was a patient at Mountain View Healthcare Center in January of this year. They were rushed to El Camino emergency where he passed that same night. When I picked up his effects the following day his various electronics (iPad, iPhone, earbuds and chargers) were not included. A follow-up visit with management the next day did not yield any sufficient answers or next steps. Made four follow up phone calls to a variety of management folks and left repeated messages. Never received a call back. It wasn’t until I filed a police report that the items were suddenly found. Can’t say for sure if this was theft or gross mismanagement but I would not recommend this facility to anyone I cared about.

As a healthcare resource who has worked with this skilled nursing facility in Mountain View, I’ve consistently had positive experiences collaborating with their team. The staff is responsive, professional, and genuinely focused on patient-centered care. Communication during transitions of care is timely and thorough, which makes a meaningful difference for patients and families alike. Based on my professional experience, this facility is a reliable option for skilled nursing and rehabilitation services, and I would feel confident recommending it to patients and families seeking quality care in the Mountain View area.

The hospital gave me 30 minutes to decide where to send my mom. We chose Mountain View Healthcare Center based on location and the promised made by Jonah. I am happy to say that it was the best decision we made and she has made great physical improvements to her left leg. We are thankful that we took our gut feeling. While we hope to never go back to a skilled nursing home, if we had to, we would recommend Mountain View Healthcare Center.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
