I just traveled from Florida to visit my cousin Barry. He is at Bay Marina for care at the end of his life. I have been to a good number of nursing homes and was very impressed with Bay Marina. The staff and the cleanliness are truly noteworthy. Barry is completely dependent on the assistance of others and is thus lucky to be in Bay Marina’s good hands. Prior to my weekend visit, the staff was in close communication with me regarding Barry’s end of life circumstances. In particular, Daniy has been a gem. Aside from staying in close contact to update me about Barry’s situation, she has helped us both by setting up FaceTime calls both before and after my weekend visit. These long distance visits are priceless during a time like this. Daniy and others on the staff have the attributes you’d hope for when a loved one requires a multiplicity of end of life support. In addition to the compassionate and exceptional care, I must also mention cleanliness. During each of my visits this past weekend, I observed that a team was actively cleaning and sanitizing. Thank you, Bay Marina.

The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
