Please be aware I want to give this facility 0 stars based on Ramen in the business office! She is horrible and nasty. The nurses are kind and may deserve a higher rating (some more than others for sure) but my father is ignored a lot. He is left in a soaking wet diaper, quite often, and as a result, has had 4 UTIs in the year he has been there. Most of the nurses are so sweet to him and are lovely, but the nurses at the nurses station are cold and impersonal. Woodland Care Center is a typical nursing facility. From my experience, no nursing facilities are great, but that in mind this facility is on the better end in respect to its nurses. HOWEVER, this review is not of the nurses, but rather Raman in the business office, which is a whole other story. Anna called me to collect our monthly payment. She put me on hold to transfer the call to Raman. When Raman picked up the line the first words out of her mouth were... and I am not joking...."where is the money?!". Not hello, just immediate nastiness. She began to talk over me and threatened to report me to social security. I was unable to meet myself.Heard over her. I felt she implied that I was stealing money from my father. How dare she?! I was my father's caregiver for 12 years before he had a life threatening fall, which put him permanently in Woodland Care Center. If I was going to steal his money, I would have cleaned him out years ago! Needless to say, her threats and accusations are completely unprofessional in unfounded. This woman is horrible and I will refuse to deal with her in the future. So while most of the nurses are extremely kind and take decent care of my dad, the admin just doesn't make it worth it. Good job Ramen!

Woodland Care Center is an excellent place to entrust the care of your elderly loved ones. The nurses are both professional and compassionate. Liliana, in particular, went above and beyond, dedicating extra time and attention to ensure my mom received the best care. She truly made a positive impact at the center. I’m deeply grateful to the Lord Jesus and to everyone who has cared for my mom. God bless everyone at Woodland Care Center, and wishing you all a Happy New Year!

***BEWARE*** This is the absolute WORST place ever!!! My aunt was here and it was horrible. She’s currently bed ridden and they would leave her in A soiled diaper. She would press the button for someone to come to change her and they wouldn’t show up. They ignore the request of the patients. Whenever I called, it took a good 20 minutes if not longer to be able to get anyone to answer the phone and get me my aunt to speak with because she’s currently bedridden. She could not reach the phone. At times when I would call they would not say anything and simply throw the phone on hold They did that over and over again. Never anyone IN CHARGE to speak with. I would never allow my worst enemy to stay here. This place is dirty, smells, they don’t give you your meds, the staff doesn’t speak English and the food is disgusting! DO NOT ALLOW YOUR LOVED ONE TO STAY HERE!!!

If I could give this place only zero stars, I would. The receptionist that I spoke to over the phone was extremely rude when I simply tried to get some information about their facility. There’s no reason for anyone to be treated that way when asking basic questions. Disappointing experience overall.

The place was terribly run down and staff was extremely lazy, rude and uncaring. You have to constantly hound them to just take care of the person you are leaving there. The cups were filthy with white residue. The food was terrible so we asked them to change his diet and they refused causing him to waste away. He was incredibly dehydrated and malnourished when we finally got him out . If I could give negative stars I would. If the person you want to have come here is unable to get around or has trouble moving do not leave them here they will waste away and leave them in soiled diapers for hours causing bed sores!

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
