What a beautiful and caring group of people. From the admin staff...Dustin, Deborah, Sandra, Anna and the owner Steve. The nursing staff and CNA's who make patient care a top priority...Becky, Ronel, April, Helen and all the rest. Thanks to D for making sure every special dietary need was taken care of. And a HUGE shout out to Taze...also known as Mr T...who leads with compassion and kindness. He leads by example with his professional and fun demeanor. One of the best people who has ever crossed my path. I will never forget how he always made sure my care and comfort was a priority.
And of course the PT and OT staff who encouraged and supported me every step of the way. They pushed me to be my very best without pressure. When I doubted my ability, they reassured and praised my efforts.
This is the end of my journey here. This facility is the reason I'm going home today and able to return to work. I arrived unable to walk and am literally dancing out of here.
THANK YOU !

I came to Richmond Post Acute looking for help, and from day one they showed up for me. My meds were always on time, the staff were helpful, and everyone always had a smile on their face. The administrator even helped me get a haircut, which might sound small but made a huge difference. I honestly feel like a new man now and ready to get back out there.
The people here are great and the treatment was solid. If you need a place to recover, this is definitely the place to come. I came in needing help and they actually showed up for me.
The administrator is great and always trying to make things happen. Social services, Ms. Sandra, is one of the best in the business, hands down. She really cares and it shows.
Taze (aka Mr. T) is a good friend and helped me negotiate everything and made things way less stressful. Therapy was amazing too, a really dedicated group that actually pushes you but in a good way.
One of the best parts is the little things. They’ve got Andy Donut nearby which is a plus, and transportation is NOT a problem. They provide rides so you can get your business done without stressing.
Overall, this place is actually the best. If you need recovery and real support, Richmond Post Acute is it.

The staff here have been really supportive and welcoming. Taze, in particular, has always encouraged my love for dancing. For Christmas, he even gave me a Bluetooth speaker, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The facility also provided Bluetooth headphones so I could enjoy music therapy while dancing. Ana, the treatment specialist, was so kind. She even walked with me to Andy’s Donut, which was a lovely experience. Ms. Kae, the nurse, was always punctual with my medications and very helpful. Basha, the CNA, is really nice and always assisted me with my showers. Debra, who runs the activities, brought in bongos, and I played them for the residents. It was such a rewarding experience to see them enjoy it. I also really enjoyed using the machine bicycle that showed scenic views, which was a fun feature.

Amii, my therapist, was also wonderful. She walked me to Andy’s Donut too, and we did a group activity walk with Roel, the physical therapist. We ended up walking to a secret garden, which was peaceful and refreshing. I was a bit unsure when I first arrived, but Taze gave me a thorough orientation and helped me get settled in, explaining what to expect. Overall, everyone here has been amazing, and I’ve had such a positive experience.

I went to Richmond Post Acute, and the people there are nice. The nurses are very helpful, and the food is decent. Taze, also known as Mr. T, was especially helpful and honestly a lifesaver. The administrator was also very supportive. The location is convenient and close to where I live.
PT and OT really helped me get up and moving. They do not force you to do anything. They encourage you, which I appreciated. The relationship I had with my roommate was a good experience and helped me during my stay.
You can also order food, and family is allowed to bring food as well, which was helpful. Being allowed to have my dog visit meant a lot to me. That unconditional love made me happy and really helped with my healing. This is my second time here, and once again they went out of their way to accommodate my diet and support me.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
