Highly recommend nursing home! The facility is beautiful and exceptionally well-maintained. More importantly, the staff is compassionate and professional. They treat the residents with dignity and respect, and communication with family members is excellent. We are so glad we chose this home for our relative.

Transitioning your loved one to a SNF for the first time can be an emotional rollercoaster. Everyone here made the experience so much easier and I felt reassured that my grandma will be in good hands.

Jie and the nursing staff are professional and have ingenuity in caring for my grandma, who can be difficult at times. I have so much gratitude for their patience. During my grandma's second admission, they quickly adapted their approach based on what they already knew about her. It was clear they remembered her needs and personality and seamlessly resumed her care.

Additionally, on the administration side, Vivian, Harry, and Ivy are all super responsive and thorough in answering my millions of questions. I appreciate everyone's support for my family and highly recommend Del Mar.

I knew Del Mar was the SNF to go when I had to start considering it for my mom. She was going to be transferred there from Garfield Hospital and I needed to start getting things ready for the change.

I got connected with Vivien immediately and she was able to answer my million questions on the spot and was really reassuring throughout the whole process (and more!). I quickly stopped by the facility for a tour with Ivy and felt really good about the decision. Facility was clean, brightly lit, and very well staffed.

My mom was admitted mid June and the team took exceptional care of her. She has a long list of complicated issues, but Jie (Director of Nursing) reassured me she's had patients before with similar conditions. Everyone there is extremely kind and patient with her, making it really easy for her to trust them. They were quick to identify issues and would always call me when they felt she needed to be sent into the hospital.

I can't say enough great things about the care team, especially the ones that constantly have my mom - Ping, Aydee, Selina, TB, Mayra. There are SO many others here that have contributed to her care and we're all so thankful for them.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
