  Sunday, Nov 1, 2025<br><br>Staff were knowledgeable, experienced, compassionate and kind and went out of their way to get whatever little something you asked them for from a warm blanket to another piece of Chocolate cake after dinner.<br><br>Eric, Karen, Mary-Lou .. (and I’m leaving out so many), should be running the place. Karen after twenty five years knew exactly where to go for every little request.   Thank you to the team at The Avenues for their great compassion and care. My grandma was checked in after she fell down and could no longer live alone. It's been a difficult time but every interaction at The Avenues has been so kind and comforting.<br><br>A special thank you to Nerissa in social services for being so attentive, prompt and patient with all of our questions, needs and concerns. My dad and I were very worried about next steps but Nerissa has been extremely helpful in laying out all the information thoughtfully so that we could make the right decisions for us.<br><br>Thanks again to everyone, it has meant so much to my family.

  This review is long overdue. My uncle was discharged from to this facility in May 2025 after staying there for about a month. He sustained a fracture after a fall from home. He received physical and occupational therapy. At first I was very skeptical about how this place can help my uncle with his recovery. This was his first time staying at a nursing home. I was very surprise during my first few visits to the facility, to see how happy my uncle was with the nursing staff caring for him. They were very attentive to his needs. Although the room was a shared room, the care my uncle received from the nursing staff was amazing. I love that my uncle had the same physical and occupational therapist follow his care and treatment throughout his stay at the facility. This consistency helped a lot with my uncle's speedy recovery and his eventual discharge back home. Thank you Andrew for keeping us well informed about my uncle's progress throughout his stay at the facility! I highly recommend this facility to anyone who may need short term nursing and rehabilitation care.

  My experiences at the Avenues is great. The staff are so helpful, have so much fun with the Activity Staff, a lots of activities. They serve a good food and alternate menu is available so resident can order food that they enjoy eating. Great place to stay.<br>I have been a resident here at The Avenues. I'm grateful to tell you about my experience on our new Kitchen Manager/Supervisor Miss Monaliza D. She's a kind and very friendly. Every morning she will greet Good morning to the Residents and staff. Ask does the residents enjoy and how the food is. She makes the residents happy and smile. Brighten the day. Very happy to have her as a TA Staff team. Thank you Miss Mona keep up the good job.<br>Ms. Dalielah J. She's spontaneous, friendly. When you need a friend to talk too I strongly recommend to talk to her. Lovable and warm hearted. I'm proud to have her on TA Staff team. Thank you Dalielah keep up the hard work.
