My mom started going here for respite care back in April of 2024 and had a good experience with them but they seemed to have declined. If you have a loved one who can't speak or eat or move on there own I would not send them. My mom went in for a week and had family there for 4 hours no one came in to change her or move her to reposition her and family asked a few times to get her a drink. They told hospice nurse my mom was not eating but she would eat when my boys went and fed her. Then the Saturday I came home I went to get her stuff and most of her stuff was gone even that I said family will do laundry. Well her lunch was sitting on the table no one even fed her or tried to feed her and spoon still wrapped in napkin it was 4:30 i took pictures. Back in July when I sent her she came home highly dehydrated. Let's just say she won't be returning.

Whispering pines is a hidden gem- it may be an older facility but the staff, PT, aides and administrators are fantastic! They listen to family and implement effective strategies to improve their patients’ lives.

My father received more services and help and progressed so much further than he did at two other fancier facilities he had been at prior. I can’t say enough about the PT and OT staff and administrator - they worked tirelessly and helped us to physically work with dad to be fully prepared for a very challenging transition to home. The PT and social worker coordinated necessary resources for home. The nurses and infectious disease administrator were attentive and careful to provide the individual care necessary for my dad.

Everyone was working to ensure the best care while there, as well as as a successful transition for home. I can’t say enough about the staff and administrative staff here.

Sasha, Latoya, Siniya , and my new aide I didn't get her name. The nursing staff is wonderful as is the aides and the pt. The only dislike is the food. It's horrible. Sorry kitchen staff.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
What to do next
Data is a starting point, not a final answer. We encourage families to visit facilities in person, observe daily routines, and speak with staff and residents. See our guide: Questions to Ask When Visiting →
