I have been at Meadow Brook for way over a year and I have had nothing but garbage food served to me. I have had to order my own food and have it delivered I've had to buy supplies bandages because they say they don't have anything.. When the hospital called here to see if there was any rooms available they asked if they could accommodate my needs they said they could and they absolutely did not.....they don't have connectors for cpap machines or breathing aspirates this place sucks. . I've had the purchase my own items as needed shampoo conditioners soap any kind of supply that I would need. .I would never recommend even a dog to stay here. The food is toros it was bad before it's even worse now that new management took it over. For the amount of money that we are paying insurance we should be getting better quality food. Most of the food they make the day before and just heat it up the next day Check out the dates on the sandwiches that are pre-made and they are outdated the crust is as hard as a rock. Looks like they're giving us cow corn .....lol. which is disgusting I have pictures I have proof Even the peanut butter that they serve here is awful and I just heard that we all ran out of sugar so there's no more sugar in the entire building for coffee or tea and they don't know when the next shipment is gonna be so don't send your grandparents or your parents or any loved one here unless you wanna see them in a pine box.

Very poor attention to the needs of patients. Serious lack of attention to the health requirements of those who are needing care. Would not recommend this care facility.

My mom just called me from her phone because she fell. I tried calling them but they didnt answer. She is currently in the temporary rehab unit and they didnt help her after her fall, she had to crawl back to her bed and then call me. This place is absolutely despicable.<br>Update- my mother sent me pictures of the conditions that she is living in. They dont help her take out the trash and they refuse to help her untangle her oxygen tubing (she is too weak to do it herself) and now she isn't getting the proper oxygen concentration that she needs. If this is the way they treat all patients then they need to be reported and shut down.

After being discharged from the hospital MeadowBrook was a pivotal part of my abdominal surgery recovery. The PT staff was exceptional and made me feel very comfortable. All the nurses and the doctors were extremely kind, caring and helpful. I highly recommend MeadowBrook in Granby, CT.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
