Horrible. My grandfather came here after being released from the hospital. The staff arenβt attentive and very rude.

Unfortunately my 22 year old niece needed rehab from a broken arm and leg. 2 days at Shelton Lakes and it was horrible to the point where she had to be rushed out of there via ambulance back to the hospital. My niece was assigned a male cna and when she needed to be changed she was uncomfortable with a male cna. The staff refused to change her cna and told her that she had to wait for the next shift to be changed. That place neglected my niece and if that is their policy they have no business operating a rehab facility. Shame on you Shelton Lakes Staff

Terrible, please donβt send family here.
Care staff seem to mean well, and check in frequently during the day. When present, the personal care staff is attentive and kind.
But thereβs a persistent issue with lack of staff during weekends and nighttime. Which does impact patient care.
Expect your family member to wait 4 hours+ for aid during the day, and not to get it at night.
They failed to notice a major injury in my mom, which required a hospital visit. They then failed to even do her intake paperwork, but had no issue harassing her daughter (who has no obligation to pay) for payments.
Not many family visit the rehab center and youβll quickly see why. If you visit family, be prepared to be harassed with calls or to even have the lady from the business office wait for you at the front desk all day to ask if youβve called the insurance company but not to check on patients π€·ββοΈ

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data β the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
What to do next
Data is a starting point, not a final answer. We encourage families to visit facilities in person, observe daily routines, and speak with staff and residents. See our guide: Questions to Ask When Visiting β
