Took good care of my mom

The staff really does care a lot for their patients. They have a very personable and knowledgeable PA-C who visits the patients regularly and addresses any new issues or concerns a patient may have. Physician/PA-C team are on-call 24 hours which allows staff accessibility for unexpected situations or medical issues that may arise, even in the middle of the night. Carpets and flooring are clean and smells fresh. Staff do their best to make sure all patients needs are taken care of. Patients are treated like family. No place is perfect, but would definitely recommend this facility.

I am currently a patient here at Diversicare of Sedgwick.
The staff is wonderful, responsive, caring, (thorough in their care).
The building is clean and smells good, even on the long-term side (no cigarette smell, we smoke outside).
The directors are really nice and helpful (thorough in their explanations of your stay and care.
The physical therapists really care about you and your level of physical ability. They don't hurt ya. They are thorough in their sessions, explaining muscle groups, and teaching over standard techniques.
Overall, I would say this facility is way better than others, and this would be the third facility I've been to.

I would absolutely recommend Diversicare of Sedgwick! I visited the facilty before my Mother was moved to Diversicare from the hospital and everyone is so welcoming and knowledgeable. They made the transition from the hospital to the facility go as smoothly as possible. After my Mother arrived the staff was kind and did absolutely everything they could to make her comfortable. The staff is working very hard to make Diversicare of Sedgwick a place you would want your family member to be for skilled nursing or a place to live. I recommend you go take a tour, talk them, and see just how much they really care because I believe the really do!!

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
