I posted about a year ago about Mother of Mercy when there were big issues. Just as life experiences change with time, so has Mother of Mercy. Some of the issues have been resolved and some staff members have changed or moved on to other endeavors.
The atmosphere has improved greatly and I’m seeing staff enjoying their work here as well as most of the residents. I’ve been here for almost three years now and it’s more comfortable here.
The new head of Assisted Living is very friendly and approachable and seems very interested in our needs and opinions.
I’m much happier here than before and plan to continue to stay here and enjoy the community here. There’s so much to do in activities and such. Now I would recommend checking Mother of Mercy out. The renovations are quite nice with the residents and their extended families in mind.
Well done folks! 🥰

The staff is very helpful and nice to us. After a week here we did get COVID and I spent several months in the ICU in St. Cloud and they were very attentive while we are quarrentine.
Now it's been over a year since we moved into Mother of Mercy Assisted Living, and our feelings about this place are very mixed. Workers at this place are at a all time low in morale, low wages, heavy work loads, big turnover in staffing. Seems that the ones we like and appreciate because they treat us kindly and do the best to help us are fired.
The food is mediocre, and it's not what we ordered off the menu. We have a good cook, but there's not much he can do with pre-boxed and bulk cheapest "food" that comes in. Sometimes our meals are okay, but many times items are missing with spilled drinks (juices and milk) that saturate our napkins.
Some management are nice and show the warmth that the name Mother of Mercy suggests. Others are bossy, telling us what can and cannot happen making this place feel like a prison rather than a peaceful home, which is what most of us elderly folks need.
I cannot in good faith and honesty recommend this place for your loved ones unless there's absolutely no other place available. We all who live here need your prayers. And continue to pray for everyone here even when I am gone, for after writing this, my husband and I probably won't last long here. But, I pray that the management that is cold and with a hardened heart changes and becomes kinder to us and the employees or are replaced.

My grandma was there and the quality of care they they treated her with was not acceptable the staff and management are rude and unprofessional whoever runs this place needs to truly consider who you have working for you, I would not recommend anyone bringing your loved one to this nursing home

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
