My grandma passed away while living in St. Marks last week. I was very close with her and spent a lot of time there during her last week. All of her staff were great and appeared to really care about her. I asked lots of questions and double checked on pain meds often, and they were always so kind to me. My grandma talked only great things about her staff. Her nurse that was there the day she was declining and when she passed was using all of his knowledge to make her as comfortable as possible. It was so obvious that he knew a lot of information and tricks to help her comfort. When she passed, he was so professional, yet so empathetic and compassionate. He made it clear that she was of value and deserved dignity through death. He gave us time after and didn’t force or press anything. I cannot express the significance he made in my memories of my grandma, and my gratitude at the fact that she was taking care of with the most gentle care until her last breath. I’ll never forget his impact. Thank you all for all you do.

Thank you for the amazing care you have given to my family member over the past 6 years. The challenges that a Veteran sometimes faces has been greatly addressed by the amazing staff at St Marks. Your care has been greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend the St Marks family to help your family member too,

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
What to do next
Data is a starting point, not a final answer. We encourage families to visit facilities in person, observe daily routines, and speak with staff and residents. See our guide: Questions to Ask When Visiting →
