I would give this place a negative if that was an option. Our mom was brought here after being in the hospital, the hospital she was able to WALK out of. Although slow she could still walk, getting to parkview they started using a hoyer to lift her from the chair and put her in a wheel chair. Only allowing her to walk once a day durning PT. No staff was allowed to help her walk leaving her sit the majority of the time and not walking at all on weekends. Thinking she would only be there a short time to get a little stronger, well that turned into almost a month. Week three they were supposed to have her up walking at least twice a day outside of PT after I started pushing the issue. The end of week 3 I found out that had not been happening so for 3 full weeks she was left to sit 99% of the time. Even with her asking to get up and walk because she just wanted to get stronger and go home. It was when I starting pushing to have her transfered out of there to another place they started helping her walk so another week and she was able to go home. WORST rehab facility around. I would 100 percent not recommend this place to anyone wanting to get up and move!!!

Felt as if was never listened to or didn’t understand or want to understand them. I was bother by the way they write the name on clothes. They could at least ask the family for tags or labels before just writing in sharpie on clothes. Many people take pride in clothes no matter the age and for someone going in it is dehumanizing for them. I know that many hurting homes do this but they it was written across the back of the next and upper back was just not right. I understand the staff is under a lot of stress and long hours but that tiny bit of empathy means the world to someone. Everyone’s experience is different and this was ours.

I cannot express enough gratitude to Park View staff and therapy. They all helped me with my progress. I broke my knee. The nurses are all amazing, the aides are wonderful and the therapy department helped me to become strong. I pushed myself which I think was detrimental to my well being and had the support from all to coach me along the way. The food is very good and nurtured me back to health. Thank you to all Park View staff!

My grandmother was sent here following a few hospital stays after having complications after open heart surgery. The experience she had at this facility was nothing short of heartbreaking and infuriating. The staff failed to bathe my grandmother during her stay, resulting in wounds due to not being mobile. The staff would leave her waiting over 20 minutes to assist her to the bathroom, some times forgetting her in the bathroom. As my grandmother is diabetic, this is extremely concerning.

My grandmothers hemoglobin was supposed to be closely monitored, and you would think as healthcare “professionals” the staff would recognize the physical signs that her levels were dropping. Instead, while my mother was out with my grandmother at a follow up doctor appointment, the nurse called my mother and rudely asked “where are you?” to inform my mother that my grandmothers hemoglobin test came back extremely low. My mother explained she had already noticed the physical signs and was taking her straight to the ER when 20 minutes later the nurse called back stating “the doctor put in an order that she needs to go to the ER”. We packed up her stuff the next day and she will NOT be going back.

I would be embarrassed if I were the staff at this facility. People are putting trust in them to care for their vulnerable family members and they are doing the absolute bare minimum. Avoid this facility if you can.

Wonderful staff and great activities laid out for residence. We have some family friends we visit here frequently. I’ve been told to mention that the food is “real good” by one of our friends.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
