My grandma was there for two days. The staff told her that she can just pee her pants. They let her sit in it for the day. After that they gave her meds that lead to her being transported to the ER unresponsive. All the while telling them they thought she had a stroke. Was also in sling with bruising to shoulder, no documentation of that. Thank goodness family members have extensive medical background and demanded be seen. All I can say is sentinel event.

My Uncle Gary moved into Franklin Restorative Care Center on January 2, 2020. Because of his social and behavioral issues it was hard to find a home that would accept him. Our family is blessed that Franklin Restorative Care Center accepted him! It is located in a beautiful location overlooking the MN River Valley! They continue to make updates to the building and grounds. I am my uncle's POA/Representative Payee/Contact Person. As I was new to this responsibility in 2020, those who were extremely helpful to me were Linda, business office; and Sue, nursing assistant who is now the activities director. I couldn't have managed without them! I am also grateful to Jenni, director of nursing; and Deb, nursing staff. I am continually updated on any medical issues that arise. Others who make my Uncle Gary feel special are: Abi, social worker; Emma, housekeeping; Maria, dietary director. Thank you Franklin Restorative Care Center for the wonderful care that you give my Uncle Gary!

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
What to do next
Data is a starting point, not a final answer. We encourage families to visit facilities in person, observe daily routines, and speak with staff and residents. See our guide: Questions to Ask When Visiting →
