The staff was very nice and helpful. My family could not ask for a better experience.

Hello providence place, I doubt anybody who works there still does when I was a resident in 2015, I should've left this review when I left. But when I was there damn near a decade ago a young 23-24 year old! I had the best time there. You could come an go! I even had 2 girlfriends over for a night while I was there an the staff did not come pull her out of my bed! Which I think was pretty cool they probably seen I had no family so kindve pity'd me which I didn't mind. Being a paraplegic on the Southside of town close to distant family made my stay one of a kind. If I could I would go back but iam now 5 years sober from heroin no Wounds an No habit to keep under control I hope if one day I need to go back they would accept me back! Ryan was swift with the relocation services! Got me out of there in under 6 months into a better living situation for a young man. Need less to say! I loved the place an made great memories there!... *edit, Not correcting anything lol I didn't think anybody would respond. But yes thank you for the experience. There was a Native American Nurse there who took the best care of me. Reminded me of my own Nokomis.... Thank you if you can reach out or ask previous staff if they remember her! Please send her my best of wishes.... Anyway onto clarifying my story. Iam now going on 6 years sober from my demons. I live a much much much better life Iam independent in just about every aspect (lol except that of washing and drying my own clothes I love when I can go back home to RedLake Nation. I bring all my clothes.) but yes. Thank you Providence place I hold this place dearest in my memories... And thank you to the owner for contacting me :) and not just passing it by you replied. That means so much to me in this day and age when everybody's at there neighbors throat or in their business. You shined through. Customer service 10/10....

My father died within the walls of love and compassion at Providence Place. As it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a village to care for a dying parent. I feel blessed that Providence Place was our village. The administrators, nursing staff, social service staff, occupational and physical therapists, and other support staff provided exceptional care to my father in their own respective ways. He was treated with respect and dignity until the moment he took his final breath. Thank you, Providence Place! Love, Rasheed & Anisa

I don’t recommend this place for anyone. Residents sit soiled in urine and never repositioned. They never have enough food for residents. They never have enough towels. Housekeeping doesn’t know how to clean. They only mop the floor which is very sticky from improper use of detergent. There is never enough staff. Residents are refused showers because of “short staff”. Whoever is staffing coordinator should be fired, they can’t keep up with staffing either.

The place seemed clean, and the staff I came in contact with seemed very nice, but my friend who was recovering from surgery had some issues. She soiled her pants and they wouldn’t help her for hours! They took her clothes and never returned them. She’s a vegetarian and they keep giving her chicken broth soup and vegetables that had a meat flavor. Kept serving her just salads. She said the food was awful. I know taking care of seniors is a tough job, but they need to be more attentive and caring towards their patients.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
