From the moment I walked in, I felt incredibly welcomed by the staff. There’s a genuine warmth and kindness here that you don’t always find. Everyone I encounter is friendly, professional, and clearly dedicated to the residents’ well-being. You can tell they care—not just about providing care, but about creating a place that feels like home. The atmosphere is calm, clean, and respectful. It’s clear this team takes pride in what they do, and it shows in every interaction. Truly a wonderful community.

For two weeks, I told staff, nurses, doctor on staff ( barely spoke English) and director:"My mother isnt eating!" ...Director's comment, "We can't make her eat!" What??<br>Just two weeks at this place, and she was rushed to Mayo with a perforation in her small intestine. She died two weeks after that. This place is a disaster! Don't bring anyone you love, to this dirty, disqusting, horrible place.

Staff were nice and helpful. The building and grounds could be cleaner and freshened up with paint and repair the parking lot

I was here for like. 3 months or so. I had put a review on that was not very nice. But i have changed my whole outlook. I did not give it a chance.i want to say i am sorry, and want to say my view is a great one. The people who work here are very good and they work very hard. I have discovered that i did not have all the right information before. Listened to people that i should not have. But i am judging on my own experience, instead of listening to others. I am thinking of staying longterm. And telling friendsto come get information. I realize that you should just get your own information. I am very grateful for all the help and understanding i have recieved. And even after I wrote the review, no one treated me differently. They have been nothing but kind. Any issues, they incourage you to report them, so they can change them. So thank you to all the staff. Jackie, sara, 3. Or 4 of them, Tiffany, Sharon,2 of them. Most all nurses. Great.. well to conclude I am glad I stayed and saw for myself how great the staff and Rochester West really is. Thank You for listening. Sherry Everett

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
