Of the three senior communities I have lived in, Cerenity is far the best !

RN’s are fantastic! Many of the aides a very good but some need more training.
All of my nurses were very professional and always exceed my expectations. Alexis, Andrew, Ibermah, Dawn, Melissa, Anabel, I’m missing the name of one of the best RN are the I’m sorry but I can’t remember. She worked days.
The food was good. PT worked hard but a couple of treatments that I was supposed to have never took place. PA Julie Ligday was excellent and was always ready to listen and not in a hurry. I would recommend TCU at Cerenity.

My Dad was a trifecta resident at Cerenity White Bear....meaning he was a patient in the TCU, a resident of assisted living and finished his life in the long term unit. Our family experienced all 3 in just 6 short months.

We started our Cerenity journey due to a a broken spine that landed him in the TCU, Cerenity was the first facility to accept him with Aetna insurance. He was so happy there that we got him an assisted living apartment.

Assisted living is nice here. The rooms are recently renovated and are very large compared to other new/flashy buildings. He had a full kitchen, living room, huge bedroom and handicap accessible bathroom. Laundry and housekeeping are included along with 3 meals and snacks daily. The food is great (eventhough my dad complained nonstop because thats what he does). There were activities and field trips and bus rides to shopping centers.

When Dads health became terminal, he moved over to long term care. They were gracious and prorated his bill for assisted living and waived the large deposit for long term since we were existing customers.

I was very very impressed with long term care. They have a great routine and seem to be very organized. The long term residents are dressed and out of their rooms early for breakfast and then have many activities that take them through lunch. Again, the food was great! Cathy, a 25 yr nurse employee was OUTSTANDING in every aspect of care.

Cerenity is deeply rooted in the community of White Bear Lake. You will definately find newer, nicer looking facilities in the area but none that will care as deeply for your loved one as Cerenity. Thank you to all of the staff and residents who made his final days on earth as happy as could be!!!!

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
What to do next
Data is a starting point, not a final answer. We encourage families to visit facilities in person, observe daily routines, and speak with staff and residents. See our guide: Questions to Ask When Visiting →
