Seacrest Therapists are wonderful, but the Nursing staff is incompetent, uncaring and neglectful! My husband went to the rehab part of Seacrest after a hospital stay! His nurses, Rachel, did not follow Dr. Ghandi's instructions to flush my husbands foley every four hours. When my husband complained that a blood clot was stuck in the foley the nurse said she would be back in a few minutes and didn't come back for hours leaving him in pain. On Thursday 2/5/26 my husband went to a follow up appointment to his urologist and they changed his catheter. On Friday 2/6/26 he noticed that nothing was going into the bag and he called the nurse. They tried flushing the foley, changing the catheter and nothing was working! My husband was starting to feel a lot of pain and asked to ho to the hospital. The staff told him they would check with the doctor. I called him and could hear from his voice that he was in a lot of pain and he told him he asked to go to the hospital. I called Seacrest and told the person who answered the phone what was going on and she said she would get the Unit Manager. I spoke to Dustin who said he was getting the head nurse and they would go see him immediately and would call me back. After 10 minutes I called my husband and he said no one came to see him. I called Seacrest back and was told they would page Dustin. Alex then gets on the phone and tells me that Dustin is inna family meeting and can't come to the phone. I say this is a medical emergency and mu husband wants to go to the ER. Alex that tells me that they have a plan to flush the foley again and if nothing comes out they will scan his bladder. I immediately go to Seacrest where nothing is being done and I adk his nurse are they waiting for his bladder to burst. Again they tell me the plan and I ask when they are going to do that and I am told not yet! In the meantime they have given my husband e tylenol and an oxy for the pain and nothing is touching his pain. Finally they try to flush the foley and the fluid goes into his already full bladder and nothing comes out. So I say scan him and they do and they find he has a full bladder and they finally say they will call 911 at 2:25 pm. What happened to Patients Rights? When a patient is in so much pain that their body is shaking and they ask to go to the hospital shouldn't 922 be called right aeay? Seems like neglect to me!!

I highly recommend this facility if you do not value your wellbeing or patient rights! I give them five stars in negligence and abuse. Let me paint a picture for you of the facility you or your loved ones may be going to. If it’s happened once, it’s happened too many times. It’s a normal morning. You’ve gotten out of bed and are waiting for breakfast to come. Your daughter comes to visit you. You’re waiting for OT & PT to come by (editors note: OT & PT are exempt from this review. They were wonderful.). You start to notice you’re experiencing complications post your follow-up visit. You alert the staff, Jeffna. You state exactly what is happening and what you are experiencing. At this point, you are in some pain. You are given tylenol. This doesn’t touch the pain. You alert the staff again through the call button that you need assistance. Some amount of time goes by and no one comes. Let’s say it’s 11am now. You request to go to the hospital, this is your patient right. You are experiencing extreme pain and know that there is something wrong. Staff — Dustin, Alex, Jeffna, and NP Rosemary DECLINE to call 911. You reach out to your loved one some amount of time later to alert them that something is wrong and you are in excruciating pain and staff isn’t helping. Loved one calls the rehab - is told patient will be visited and they will be called back. 30 minutes go by and nothing. Let me save you the back and forth that occurred next for THREE AND A HALF HOURS - the loved ones and patient asked for 911 to be called several times. They had to threatened to call 911 themselves. The patient was SCREAMING out in pain and shaking and staff - Jeffna, Dustin, Alex, NP Rosemary did not respond to patients urgent cries for help. It took THREE AND A HALF HOURS for staff to address a MEDICAL EMERGENCY. It has come to my attention that 911 calls are reported to the state and could get a rehab facility flagged. It is our belief that they denied calling 911 FOR HOURS because they did not want to have it come up as flagged. They’d rather risk someone’s bladder bursting and getting them dying than getting them the care they need. It’s also important to note the complications MAY have been avoided had the staff followed the post visit procedures. The staff was not responsive to patient needs. It’s also important to note that this was not their only mess up - just the most severe. They also missed a follow up appointment because they were too incompetent to schedule a driver. Please. If this review can save ONE person from the pain my loved one went through it was worth it. I wouldn’t recommend this facility to anyone.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
