Pines Village is a warm and inviting place. I feel safe living here. There is always a nurse on site so if i do have a problem i can always call and they are there to help me. the Independent living nurse (Dana) is helpful, caring, and always has a smile on her face.<br>The food is always hot and delicious. I have lived here for 3 years and in those 3 years i have made new friends and have never felt unwelcome. Its not a community but a family down to the Employees who Always show up with smile.

My parents have been living in the assisted living for nearly a year. Their quality of life has improved tremendously and they are very happy.<br>The facility is clean and the decor is appealing. The staff truly does care!!! (Of course they would benefit from having a little more staff, but this is unfortunately true for all health care related facilities).<br>It has a wonderful, warm, cozy, friendly atmosphere. There are plenty of activities and events to keep the residents entertained and stimulated. And the food is very good.<br>I would highly recommend The Pines Village in Whiting NJ to anyone considering assisted living for themselves or their family members.

This place is the WORST . The nurses are so rude & not helpful at all . They are ALWAYS short staff and expect you to be in 2 places at once . There is one particular nurse there that is super rude and LAZY walks around with an attitude & refuses to help with anything out of her scope of practice but will complain and harass you all throughout your shift if she doesn’t care for you .
