Administration was hard to reach. Misdiagnosis of my mother condition. Overnight staff unfriendly.

My mom has been here for approximately a month after being at a different home. This place is much better! It is clean, well lit, and feels like home! Employees seem very welcoming and cheerful. The first care conference for my mom was very informative and they had my mom attend too! Mom is now receiving physical therapy and speech therapy. She was even standing for two minutes which was an experience she hasn't had for a long time. She gets to go to activities which she didn't get to do at the last home. They'd just keep her in bed and forget about her. I'm really liking this place!!! She even had her own eating utensils and mat which makes it easier for her to eat. She's even gained weight!

Mom is still at Augusta Place Good Samaritan! There is a monstrosity of a new nursing home being build on north Washington. Thankful Mom was able to get in this small homey ground level facility. Still loves her caregivers at Augusta.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
What to do next
Data is a starting point, not a final answer. We encourage families to visit facilities in person, observe daily routines, and speak with staff and residents. See our guide: Questions to Ask When Visiting →
