My mom lived at Eventide, Fargo, Care Center for over 7 years. Through those years, my family and I worked closely with staff, participated in every care plan meeting, strongly advocate for our minds care, and did not hesitate to discuss concerns with staff. The last year, our mother received total care. The care wasn't always perfect, but there was only once in seven plus years, that I felt the need to do an official complaint regarding an aide. As family members, we advocated for her dietary needs, because new aides do not always know. Her medical needs were met on a timely basis. Phone calls were returned timely. Staff were overall respectful and seemed to genuinely care for our mother and us as a family. They helped us work with hospice and the passing of our mother. Tears and hugs were shared. Words cannot expression the appreciation I and my family feel towards the Eventide staff. Thank you for giving her, her last home in a peaceful setting, surrounded with care , love, and family.

If I give one star, there is good reason. I can't even enumerate the issues we had- One hoyer lift for the west and east wing? My mom had to wait a half hour to use the bathroom. Found her kidney bag full on the floor in the bathroom. Do you know long it takes to fill a kidney bag? Should've been drained. She was shivering that day. Do these nurses know what sepsis looks like? Her shirts and pj's were taken, although I told them I was doing her laundry. Expensive shirts look good to anyone, I guess. They cut me a check for those. She couldn't eat solid food so she ate chicken noodle soup there. The menu was of steak tips or pizza choice on day. I had to order Doordash for the 2 weeks she was there to get her food she could eat. She came into the hospital afterward malnurished. Some CNAs complain a lot about being overworked. 2 nurses for 24 people I understood from one of them. Brought mom home. Couldn't stand the place. She came home not feeling good. She passed from sepsis.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
