I don’t write reviews very often but have to on this facility. My mother was there for about 5 years and had to move her out for her safety. The care went down hill over time with little supervision of staff. Dispute meeting with administration numerous times to solve issues and not seeing any improvement we moved her out. Phones allowed in the shower with clicking sounds heard, a fall when staff stepped out. Cares overlooked resulting in missed meals. Bloody chicken and cold soup. Numerous thefts resulting in hundreds of dollars. We caught someone more than once entering her apartment without permission and they brushed it off. The police were notified but they always had excuses. One staff member was seen sleeping in the hall. We finally meet with the CCO and got cameras in the hallway but they refused to monitor them or view them unless we had a specific day and time as it would be a waste of their time. Numerous staff members left so there was a big turnover and we had new people to meet with when problems arose.

Sheyenne Crossings is a wonderful facility. My mother is getting the best care possible from the caring and compassionate nurses and staff. They all know her by name and treat her like family. We are informed immediately if there are any issues or changes with my mother. We are very grateful for everyone at Sheyenne Crossings.

My mother in law has been a resident there for over 5 years. The staff are exceptionally supportive of her and help her to cope with living in a facility. During Covid-19 she was in lockdown and couldn't leave her room. The staff made sure that items that we dropped off got to her and they spent extra time visiting with her (when staffing levels allowed). When I ask about the food, my mother in law always has positive comments. I would recommend Sheyenne Crossings to anyone.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
What to do next
Data is a starting point, not a final answer. We encourage families to visit facilities in person, observe daily routines, and speak with staff and residents. See our guide: Questions to Ask When Visiting →
