They don’t respond to call buttons In a<br>reasonable amount of time and the meals are not adequate. … Now my friend says he has bedsores and wants to be transferred. They told him he can’t, but I don’t think that’s true. What about his rights? He told me to do research for him. My father is a lawyer….

*10/25 update/edit. We got connected with the right people to address our concerns. It took a couple days to get the water faucet fixed, but it did get done. Everyone has been kind and helpful, and they do genuinely seem to care and want to improve the facility and have a good experience for their patients and residents. ** On Friday, (10/18/24) my father was transferred to Focused Care for physical therapy/rehab after a short hospital stay. Upon arriving, it was discovered that the TVs in individual rooms were not working. While that seems like a petty complaint, for someone who has to have assistance getting in/out of bed and into a wheel chair, it's borderline cruel to have them in a room with zero entertainment. As of today, (Sunday 20th) the TVs are not fixed, so we took a Roku device to him so he would at least have some entertainment. Today, we discovered that the cold water tap on the bathroom sink does not work. We advised someone at the nurse's station (around noon or so), and she said it would likely be tomorrow before it was fixed. Completely unacceptable. I cannot imagine how it is for long-term residents, when the short experience we have had has been so dismal.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
