My mother and I went to visit our love one and was in disbelief of the condition of Wayland Nursing Home. This is far, the WORST nursing home we have ever seen! Upon entering building, could not tell if we were entering the front door, employee entrance or what, not to mention the door was outdated and loud. Do not let the pictures on their site fool you, because the rooms do not look like pictures on website!! The furniture is "very much" outdated, equipment needed in rooms. Cords not plugged in outlets, instead extension cords are used. Resident rooms are crowded, meaning it should be a 1 person room. If you have to adjust a "old piece of furniture," which in our case a small old broken down, (we believe a end table) to get to your love one, you inconvenience the other person, causing them to be blocked in their area, making this a unsafe environment. Make sure your love one have a phone because there are no phones in the room! The reception desk (a tray bed table with a plastic blocker glass attached to it) is located in a "actual hallway." The only reason we give this nursing home "1 star" is because of the staff, although it seem to be a shortage they were very pleasant and helpful. We would like to know "where is our family's monies being spent on." This facility should be reported to the state.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
