  As this was my first experience with having a family member in a rehab facility, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was most impressed with many of the staff members there. They were both professional and skilled. They dealt with my family member with kindness and support. I don’t know the names of Many of the staff members, I would like to especially highlight Barry, Allison, Kyndra, and Krista. They not only spent a great deal of time with my husband, but also answered my questions.

  Jamestown rehab has been a blessing to our family. The people who work there are courteous, caring, hard working people. We had an “Angel” looking over our dad when he passed away and our mother will have 3 visits to this caring environment and they continue to amaze us with their love and kindness. Home is clean and never smells along with a loving atmosphere through out.<br>We are grateful to all the superheroes who have helped us through our difficult times.<br>April and Bill Brown, children of Jeff and Henri Seitz.

  My mother went into Jamestown Rehab after a stay in Sentara hospital. We arrived at Jamestown and the aesthetics were not impressive! What I learned, don't judge a book by the cover!<br>My Mom was tired and was dozing which gave me time to look around and really want a paint brush and some art to put around the room. As I put her things in drawers I noticed the furniture is really worn, but still functional.<br>A team, PT, Social Worker and head clinical nurse, came in and told me what to expect. They answered my questions and were to the point - efficient.<br>Over the next few weeks, we were in almost everyday. My Mom had all the responsive care she could get - she pressed her call button and someone was there. Her Speech, Physical, Occupational Therapy and medical needs were met and some! To be honest, we went in thinking hospice care would be her next step and came out ready for home health care. They "worked" her in the right amount that she gained momentum in great bounds. Her tired, "I can't" attitude changed to "let me try." To us, to see that progress -was amazing!!<br>We applaud the work Jamestown Rehab staff does - sometimes it is thankless and not so nice. But, they do it - mostly with smiles but always with a helpful attitude! I wish I could name everyone involved with my Mom's care but, there were so many and I don't want to leave anyone out - they all were great! Thank you!

  My stay was pleasant and very helpful. The rehab staff worked very hard to improve me. The staff took care of all the problems that I had with insurance and everything else. Upon my release they were very helpful in getting me home very safely.

  Linda Ward the caregiver for my husband whose discharging on 2/16 has been kind, caring and thorough toward him. Linda has always been cheerful each time I've come to see him. Shelley in therapy has worked with my husband several times during his stay and has been instrumental in the progression toward mobility and recovery after his hip surgery to repair his broken femur.
