  The staff at Edgerton Care Center was outstanding! They cared for my mother with compassion and care, managing her unique sense of humor and love of peanut butter. :-) They also effectively coordinated work with Agrace Hospice during the final period for a peaceful end of life for my loved one.

  Not a fan, My grandmother Sandra came here for rehab. Her room call light didn't reach all the way across her room and she had to use a bell? What kind of state violation?? Rooms were nasty unkept.

  I have had 2 parents at Edgerton Care Center. My Mom was a patient for 8 years and my Dad for 15 months. We looked at multiple facilities and finding ECC was a miracle. The initial staff were great and during COVID (late 2020 - mid 2022) the place went downhill. I have to be honest and say I didn't know if they would recover but once Amy was appointed administrator, things improved. I was at the facility every single day to visit my Dad and Mom. Staff were amazing! The RN's and most CNAs were attentive and helpful. While there were a few times they were short staffed because of people calling in sick, etc. when my Dad (and I) were frustrated - I have to say that they tried their best. They were very accommodating to our requests. Kacy, the head of housekeeping is phenomenal. She keeps that place clean and laundry done. Mary, head of kitchen is great! The therapy team is wonderful. They were so accommodating with my Dad who is a double amputee. Janellan was great with wound care and other issues that arose. There are so many staff who's names I haven't mentioned but they know who they are. Bottom line is I have looked at multiple skilled care facilities and ECC is one of the best in Rock County. I do want to say that I have provided respectful criticism of specific situations over the years and staff responded to fix situations. As I have told them, I might sometimes complain but I will also always be appreciative of all they do that is right. Thankfully, frustrations are few and I wouldn't choose any other place for my parents' care. Thank you ECC!
