If I could leave zero stars on this I would. My dad was abused here in April 2025. The CNA responsible, Jahnix, was taken to court by the state with eyewitnesses that saw her shove him so hard that he smashed his head and was bleeding uncontrollably, then sent to the hospital. She threatened other staff to not tell, but luckily one staff member was brave enough to not listen to her. The case was dismissed only because the DA appointed by the state was incompetent and failed to show that he was 60 years and up. By the time the case went to court, Watersedge conveniently lost video footage of the defendant being aggressive with my dad. In his time there, he was not fed, he was not bathed, and I’m not even sure that there was a doctor on staff. When we asked to meet the doctor, we were told “He might be out of the country, I’m not sure”. After speaking to others that had found me there, we found that they experienced the same. Please do not send your loved ones here. No one should go through with my family went through.

This rehabilitation is doing a excellent job at communicating with me and my daughter. Especially Paula the rn quality control nurse she really told me so much that was going on with my mom and her care. Also the 2nd shift Rn Jenna is also amazing with my mom and with our family. Thank you for being there for her and our family when my mom is here doing rehab.

Water's Edge has a great staff. Friendly and always willing to accommodate every time I visit my cousin. Seems to be a great place by a great lake (Lake Michigan). Good Staffing is always the hardest to find. They seem to be doing something right to attract nice , caring , loving staff.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
