The place seemed to be well run. The friend I visited today is very happy, he’s gained weight so we know he is eating better. And getting all his medication!

I have been in many nursing care facilities during my 37 year career in the mechanical contracting business. When my elderly friend was first admitted about a week ago he was pretty combative and hated the place - fast forward and a week later I have my old friend back. He was laughing introducing me to new friends and getting ready for lunch. His best meal is breakfast his only complaint is the coffee is not as hot as he would like it. The facility is clean and the patients seem to be well cared for. It was nice to see my old friend starting to thrive in his new environment. No nursing home / rehab is perfect but this one is one of the better ones out there. Thanks for caring for an old friend.

I love living at Samaritan. It offers a home like atmosphere. The staff is caring and helpful. Staff treats all residents with respect. They also offer a variety of outings and activities that are enjoyable. Another nice thing is you are as active as you choose to be. The beauty shop services and church services are excellent. I am glad that I was informed of Samaritan, It has been the best move I made. I highly recommend Samaritan for you or your loved ones.

Quality hygeine care for my mother-in-law was terrible. She was either sitting in her stool or urine when I arrived. I asked employees why she is not beeing toileted and I always heard the same response, I don't know this is my first time working here. Very disgusted.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
What to do next
Data is a starting point, not a final answer. We encourage families to visit facilities in person, observe daily routines, and speak with staff and residents. See our guide: Questions to Ask When Visiting →
