Some staff are nice. Overall no emphasis to heal the patient, and minimum level of attempt to keep them safe and clean. Maybe they are just dramatically understaffed, but the bottom line is if the patient isn't in prime mental state to know that this is a path to health then the patient just lies in their room calling for help/loved ones/etc.

Third time the patient has fallen. This time they have no idea how many hours she was lying on the floor. She was moved to the room closest to the nurse's station. The room being filthy is horrible, but no one checking on a patient in hours...no one hearing cries for help...this place is horrible!!!

My 89 year old mom broke her hip and had emergency surgery the next day. Two day later she was transported to the Center of Tucson. Myself and my father visited my mom for 8 hours a day for her entire 4 week stay, so we saw the daily workings of this facility. I can’t speak highly enough about the care provided to take care of my mom. Every nurse; nurse assistants; physical therapists; occupational therapists, patient social advocates, facility staff people and even the housekeeping staff is A+++. When my mom entered the center we weren’t sure what her life would be like going forward. The care they provided had my mom back walking and prepared to get back to her active life. Can’t thank Dona; Martha; Carlos; Lettie; Erich; Melissa; Ivan; Sharif; Eric and many others, enough for the unbelievable dedication you have to provide top level care for your patients. You treated us like family and we will always have love for this wonderful facility!

Visited a friend. Continues to be poor communication and delays in answering call lights. I timed, 22 minutes to take my friend to the bathroom.

My Father in Law has dementia and received great care at The Center. They put him in a special room by the nurses station with a window so they could monitor him closely. Thank you to his therapists who worked so hard with him!

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
