I wish I would’ve read the reviews before I chose to send my mom here. The communication with the staff was terrible. The Care provided for my mom was awful. They only bathed her once, and she went home with horrible sores in places she should not have them. I am still treating her wounds and it’s been a few weeks. They did not attempt to educate me with the appeal process, and thus I wasted a ton of money having to pay for my mom to stay longer because I was unable to pick her up on the day insurance released her. Now I am in the appeal process and will have to fight to get reimbursed. according to the insurance company, I was not supposed to pay them until after the appeal process is done. Run from this place as there are much better facilities in the area! Do your research and read the reviews! I’m not one to usually do a poor review, however this place needs some work to revamp their care facility. I was terribly disappointed in all aspects of this place. This was a stressful time for me, and this place doesn’t CARE!

The wound care team at rock creek are the most intelligent, informative and innovative professionals I have ever had in over 20 years in my healing journey. I came to rock creek in a deep depression. My wounds were out of control and I was released from a wound care center saying my wounds would never heal. The pro team at rock creek got to work. Introducing new products and techniques. Healing started immediately. It’s a long journey, but I’m in good hands. And anyone needing wound treatment and placement for a loved one would find rock creek the perfect place to go. The wound care team are healing my wound and keeping my spirits high. This is a true five star facility.

I was at Rock Creek from Aug 28 until Oct 9, recovering from a foot injury and infection . I cannot say enough about the kindness and quality of care from the nurses , CNAs, and Physical Therapy staff Everyone was caring and kind. Before I came , I had the usual fears people have about a skilled nursing facility. Will it smell like urine ? Will people be parked in front of the nurse’s station looking hopeless ? None of these fears came true I was always treated in a kind way. Not like a child and with good senses of humor in evidence I want to shout out to several of the staff. My 4 nurses. Rania , Anna, Ashley , and Mariah. All who advocated for their patients and were incredibly personable and kind. They represented their profession well Some great CNA staff. Lori , Alicia, Manfreet , Chevy , Danny , Nelia, Tatiana , Cristiana , and so many others who were fun and helpful and kept my spirits up everyday . The Physical Therapy staff, Tasha and Jose especially who went above and beyond for patients and always were encouraging me to get up and moving and gave me the confidence to know that I would return home with greater strength If you need to go somewhere to recover from an injury , I would highly recommend Rock Creek. They were good to me

This is the best facility in Auburn. My mom had an incredible experience after a very unexpected injury they were warm and welcoming and helped us return home and even set us up with more nurses to come and help us after we left. We sat outside in their courtyard almost everyday. The nurses are all so patient and kind we miss seeing them everyday. Janet, Dawn, Jay, Gabby and the wound nurse are all awesome and helped us so much. the dietitian makes sure that they serve you proper meals and they let you DoorDash if you want to. We couldn’t have done it without them. I wish I remembered everybody’s name I know that I missed some important people.Everyone here is great.

My father was at a local facility where we were paying for “exceptional care” and what we were told would be “elegant cuisine”. We decided to move him after finding him in deplorable conditions. Additionally, his weight dropped from 128 to 108. We moved dad to Rock Creek approximately a month ago. Since then, he has gained more than 18 pounds and is smiling again. At the other facility Dad received bed baths/sponge baths at the old facility. Much to his delight, Dad had his first long shower in months… The aide caring for Dad was unaware of my presence. The shower door opened to laughter and smiles. Dad had a smile on his face, saying it was “a glorious time!” It was the first time I have seen Dad laughing in months. Institution food may not be glorious, but he’s comparing Rock Creek Care to hotel accommodations. Best of all, in three weeks he is eating 3 balanced nutritional meals and 2 snacks a day. The Staff, probably the most important aspect of a Care Facility. works above the norm to make sure that clients are happy, comfortable, treated with respect, and well cared for. Per my father, “each of them has a number of clients to take care of but they do a good job overall. The CNA’s are young people and and they absolutely care about people.” according to my father, they put dad’s shoes on him with his brace and make sure he’s comfortable to get in his wheelchair so he can roll around the building. They even make sure that he can get to the bathroom to use the facility or get changed if he needs to in the middle of the night - and they never complain. Infact, they seem to be happy and well organized at what they do.” I feel confident, leaving my father here and knowing that he’s well cared for and Dad and the staff seem to be happy.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
