My grandmother Yvonne wills was here . I came to visit her and caught the nurses hosing her down in her room with the sliding glass door open and it was raining outside. She was 93 .her uses were given tips by my mom. She was later taken to a hospital with head and body injuries. These ppl are lucky I let them live. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE .

After our mother was hospitalized for a week, she needed to be transferred to a rehabilitation center. We reviewed all the rehabilitation facilities in the South Bay area. Lomita Post-Acute Care Center was one of the top four on the list. We visited three of them, each with its own strengths, making it difficult to decide. The fact that LPACC offered private rooms made us lean toward choosing it. My mom stayed here a month and half. The facility is very clean. There are no unpleasant odors anywhere. The staffs here are all very diligent, well trained, and friendly toward elderly patients. The physical therapy programs and the therapists are excellent. We would like to specially THANK to : 1. Nurse: Edel , She helped my mother, who had very bad pain one night ,on her wound area. Edel was extremely thorough in cleaning my mother's wound, applied a fresh dressing for her, and even added a protective pad under for extra comfort. (Ampy assisted). 2. CNA's: Sebastian, Alessandra, Angela (works on night shift): They are exceptionally dedicated and responsible in their work. They show great patience with the elderly patients, never displaying any frustration, and always have smiles on their faces. They truly approach their work with all their hearts, making the elderly patients feel truly comfortable and happy. 3. Medication aids: Ampy & Chris: My mother used to be the head of the internal medicine department. She wants to know what medication she is taking with each meal. The two of them never show any impatience - they always take the time to tell and explain it to my mother. 4. CNA's: Jasmine & Jennifer: Who willingly helped on two occasions even though it was not their assigned area, with friendly attitude. 5. Josh has been very helpful whenever we needed guidance with anything. All the praise here goes to the excellent leadership of the facility, the administrator - Kyle Armstrong. The facility Kyle manages has truly exceeded our expectations. Whenever we had a small issue, he resolved it quickly and efficiently. Last: we would like to mention CNA Alexis and medication aide Miriam: We hope they will no longer bringing their personal emotions to work, especially when dealing with elderly patients. They should be friendly, patient and compassionate, and strive to learn from the individuals mention above. We are very happy that we chosen Lomita Post-Acute Care Center. Victor and Amy QIU

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
What to do next
Data is a starting point, not a final answer. We encourage families to visit facilities in person, observe daily routines, and speak with staff and residents. See our guide: Questions to Ask When Visiting →
