I am writing this on behalf of another party who recently stayed at the Vi Care Center:
She had a very positive experience, felt well cared for, and felt she came out of the care facility better than she entered it. She highly recommends the Vi!

My husband Ken Lee was at Vi for rehab after surgery at Stanford for C2 to 7 Cervical Laminoplasty.
We had an excellent experience at Vi after surgery at Stanford hospital. He has rehab, PT/OT and nursing . All team members provided him with great care. Admissions coordinator, Thea, was thorough and welcoming to our stay Dr. Navarro from Palo Alto Medical center was so nice and professional. She assisted us in all aspects of care coordination. PT rehab supervisor, Pratik was so helpful. He went above and beyond to teach our caregiver in changing neck brace and proper ambulating technique. Camille was his first nurse. She greeted us always with a smile and checked in his incision with care. Usha in front desk was so helpful. She helped us arrange a thanksgiving meal with private conference room so my husband had a family gathering during thanksgiving. The meals at Vi were fantastic and tasty.
All in all, we have a wonderful experience at Vi and we thank all the team members for their excellent care .
Sincerely ,
Daisy Lee

I was fortunate to stay at the Vi following a fracture of my femur. The PT and OT teams are excellent and facilitated my healing progress and confidence. The nursing is professional and caring. My room and bathroom (and whole facility) were kept extremely clean and tidy. The food is tasty, and I was able to keep to a varied dairy free diet which is often not so easy. Everyone I encountered who worked for the Vi skill nursing were exceptional and caring.

I was fortunate to be able to do post hip surgery rehab at The Vi Skilled Nursing in Palo Alto, where I stayed for 4+ weeks due to surgery complications. The staff (nursing, PT/OT, and otherwise) was excellent, the private rooms were a bonus (and had private bathroom). And the food was great. Thank you The Vi for the good care.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
