There isn't an actual nurse to save your life around here! It's dirty, complete with feces on the floor and bedside table! 🤬 Housekeeping doesn't do anything, but push a germ infested dirty mop from room to room, and they NEVER actually clean anything! And trust me, you can just forget about anyone answering a call light. Especially the tall "charge nurse!" Who, btw, nobody likes! 😆 I almost forgot about that high sodium, carbohydrate laden, frozen processed disgusting slop they try to pass off as food is just unbearable. But there are some amazing staff members who go above and beyond. And for that I am thankful. Christian is awesome! I miss him. 🥰 It's been a while since I was there, I never received my personal belongings either, so I do hope these concerns have been addressed and rectified. 🥺 No such luck. The horrendous "social worker" hung up on me every single time I called to try and get my belongings. When I finally got through to the administrator, a year later, she told me my stuff was gone. My jewelry; my brand new bipap machine; the only clothes I had left; my cute solar powered garden gnome, probably replaceable, but none of my other personal belongings are! 😡 My driver license, credit cards, social security card, etc. Nothing left. They stole every last bit of belongings I had. 😔

We are finally getting our loved one home tomorrow. I hope the staff knows how much we really appreciate all the hard work that they do. Their wound care team there is phenomenal. They have a nurse by the name of Adam and he is a true angel. This is our second time around at Hillcrest Heights. My mother was there last year and I wouldn’t have picked another place. If your loved one is needing rehab, I highly recommend Hillcrest Heights .

Will I could say that there's a lot of good people that work here but these 3 people stand out the most. The administrater is outstanding Dena as done a great job since I been here. But the two that stands out the most and that's the head nurse Janessa and Roxie those two bought me back to life after I had two heart attacks and a stroke and to be honest I wouldn't have made it through it. They wouldn't let me die and for that I want to say Thank You I owe you my life.

This is my third time at Hillcrest Heights, Other facility were recommended to me, I chose this place over objections because my prior experience and current stay here is that the staff here show genuine care and concern for the residents, It all start with the administrator DINA, She actively get involved with residents and staff has a open door policy in which residents can speak to her and address their concerns and the ones that can't, she routinely pays them a room visit. She has put together a staff that includes CNA's, Nurses, and Activities, that also actively get involved with residents. Other staff such as admissions, personnel, Ariana, Claudia, also are actively involved in helping residents- addressing their issues and concerns. If this type of service is in need I would recommend it.

The facility is maintained in a clean manner on a daily basis. Members of the nursing staff are proficient and positively impact the experience. The CNA’s are attentive, although rotating them from one section to another regularly reduces their effectiveness with their ability to provide care…just as they begin to understand the individual needs they are rotated away. The food is mostly good, although there can be an occasional miss (as can be expected).

A few cons include a single “house phone”, which is only an issue for those without a cellphone. WIFI is available but it can often be spotty in performance with regular interruptions. The biggest con can be the roommate pairing; a problematic assignment greatly impacts the daily experience.

A final con is visitors often have difficulty finding the entrance (you must enter from 7th).

Overall, the staff is professional and mission focused on providing care. That’s the pro that counts most.

Adam, Janessa, Luis, Kyle, Minti, both Chris’s and Ruth deserve specific acknowledgment. There are many others who also contribute to the positive environment.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
