Although I don't personally know any of the residents here, I would like to share my experience with the staff while dealing with a highly stressful situation.

My motorcycle broke down in front of San Francisco Towers. Due to the timing and the nature of the bike's issue, I was unable to move it or have it towed until the following morning. After spending about an hour trying to remedy the situation myself, I went into the main office to apologize for obstructing the sidewalk area and asked if they had any recommendations as the closest garage I could locate was far away.

The receptionist (I can't remember her name, I think it was Irene) was incredibly kind and helpful. She referred me to the manager, Troy, who went above and beyond to help me get my bike somewhere safe until the following day.

In the process of trying to repair the bike myself, I met several of the residents, some with a caretaker and others independently. Everyone who I came into contact with was empathetic, engaging and forgiving of the situation. They all seemed to be happy to be there and from what I could see from the main office area, the space looks beautiful.

Everyone was genuine, kind, and took time out of their schedule to help me in a time of need. I can't thank them enough for their humanity and understanding. If I had a loved one who needed to live in an assisted living facility, I would certainly want them in the hands and company of people who are as endearing as the ones I met here. Thank you again!

At San Francisco Towers, I am living my best life. The basic details of daily living are taken care of, and there are many options to expand my circle of friends and participate in a wide variety of activities. Each day I continue to bolster my health by exercising at one of the many available classes here. I stimulate my mind with the various lectures, concerts, events and movies presented monthly, and I participate on committees and clubs that benefit all of us at the Towers. Living at the Towers far exceeds what I imagined when considering moving here. My family and friends can tell that I am very happy here.

I love how I live at San Francisco Towers! Daytime options to exercise or spend the day walking and exploring, meet old and new friends for a tasty dinner menu full of choices, followed by a concert, movie or lecture. That's what I think about when I think of San Francisco Towers, lots of personal time with the freedom to choose alternatives that make what is to me, a beautiful and stimulating life, after 10 years in residence.

My grandparents lived there since the Towers opened over 20 years ago. The place suited there needs to the very end of their lives. They enjoyed almost every day as much as they could. Neither of them died in a place that was unfamiliar. They passed where they called home. The staff is great. My grandmother knew most of them on a personal level. Towards the end of My grandmother's life, the nurses provided exceptional care and advice for our family. Above and beyond anything that should ever be asked.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
