Staff working out of their scope of practice with no supervision. No RN on site every time I went to see my aunt. Medications werenβt given correctly

I've never seen such a disorganized home. Tell workers my Dad needs to go to the bathroom and they walk right out of the room like they didn't hear me. Many things happen like this that I've seen here. Working our hardest to find him a different place. I hope I never end up in a place like this sometime, it's clean and new, that's all they have going for them. Sad

My mother was at River Pines for 2 1/2 years,,she passed away on Valentineβs Day π She received EXCELLENT care and became a fast favorite! She had her hair done weekly in the beauty shop, daily activities, and most important church every Sunday π Family members and friends would comment on the cleanliness of facility and the awesome care she received there! Some of the staff members became good friends π

They killed my grandfather. My grandfather had issues with seizures, which would cause him to sometimes, temporarily, lose control of certain motor functions, like eating. The nurses misdiagnosed him because of this, and chose to stop feeding him. Even though he showed clear signs he was hungry and capable of eating the next day. Now less than a week later, he's dead. They've misdiagnosed him multiple times before, assuming he'd be dead in a day or two, but it always turned out to be a reaction from something they did to him. They were also STRONGLY against us taking him out of the facility for appointments.

I'd advise not sending your family here. If you can find the time or money to care for them at home, do it!

Everyone seems unhelpful, and my grandparent showing signs of abuse. Left messages and no call back. Just because its clean and new doesn't make it safe!

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data β the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
What to do next
Data is a starting point, not a final answer. We encourage families to visit facilities in person, observe daily routines, and speak with staff and residents. See our guide: Questions to Ask When Visiting β
