My family and I have had the worse first impression and experience here and this is only my loved ones 2nd day. My mom had 4 prepared meals ALL LABELED for lunch/dinner/how to reheat etc and all her home-cooked meals were left sitting out around her sink over 24 hours which is a federal and state food safety violation code. The nursing staff during my visit was rude, called my mother dead weight (Michelle) to another staff member and then later when I informed admissions that she was in need of a shower (they assumed she already had one in the a.m. which she in fact did not) they reiniterated it to the nursing staff, that later came up with excuses in the evening of why they hadn't (Remi) and said she'd have to wait until Monday after I had already spoken to admissions about this! It wasn't until my sister informed the nursing staff during her visit that she will be going to the director of nursing and the administrator that they then decided to shower her and even then knowing our mother was a 2 person assist (stroke victim w/right side paralysis that just had femur surgery), remi decided to leave it to the new cna to handle alone (Nadia is a prime example of a compassionate employee who strives to hold the highest standards with patient's/resident's, and she did it alone). The unprofessionalism is beyond ridiculous for such an establishment and I am completely in disbelief. As someone who works in the Healthcare field and at the hospital myself I cannot comprehend the disregard for compassion some of these hired individuals have and this is only one issue that arised on the second day!! Do better! Train your staff better! And hold them accountable. It seems specific staff would highly benefit from additonal training on patient/resident care and focus values because this would not be accepted at the hospital nor would the verbiage of Dead Weight be used out loud to describe a patient who is incapacitated. Horrible staff makes for a horrible environment and I can now see why this establishment has negative reviews. I will be addressing this to administration.

Worst nursing home I’ve been to. Staff is so rude and have no compassion. The CNA by the name of Romel (a guy) was so rude and has some mood swings. Can’t cut it in a masculine position so you get a woman’s position and act like one too huh? 😂
