One star facility, One star review. When the employees of the place tell you how horrible it is... that says alot.

Please do not send your love one here.. We couldn’t get our family member out of there fast enough. The facility is ancient but worse are the care givers. We were laughed at, belittled, lied to and ignored. We had more than one healthcare worker outside of the facility advise us to report them for our Uncles inadequate care. We are filing a complaint with the state but not sure what that will do….Just don’t do it…

This Facility should not be in operation. I can only think that the positive reviews are left by employees trying to get the ratings up and filter out the honest ones. The honest reviews are the ones screaming DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! In fact, no one should be there. Patients are not looked after, cared for or even monitored. Vitals are never taken, hands are never washed, and I wish the staff wasn't an issue but, they are. They know and they don't care anymore. You ask for something or ask a question you are given long dragged out stares and rolled eyes. The place has worn on them too. NO excuse for the neglectful care but if it has always been this way how could anyone stay optimistic about anything there. Down right dirty, foul stagnant air, very unprofessional storage of supplies all lined up along the floor in hallways. No rooms have chairs, not for visitors nor for patients. Something needs to be done.....we couldn't get our family out soon enough. And the most ironic part of our experience, once we were fighting for transfer and that transfer became an reality, THEN care was being given. Fresh water was offered, bedding was changed (even if it looked like cheese cloth from all the holes in them) physical therapy showed up.....pretty disgusting. If there are no beds available, then fight to keep your loved ones in hospital until beds are available else where. THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE!!!!!

This place barely deserves one star. Not only did my mother get sent her fresh out of the hospital after barely leaving ICU, but she was given little to no care or assistance in regard to needing to rebuild her physical strength/ capability. Had explained to me in great detail that they scarcely checked up on her and were really very quite dismissive of most things she brought up save for ONE SINGLE staff member. Most others did hardly anything. The food and portions were abysmal, as in: one evening she was given FOUR chicken nuggets. Another night, she was BEYOND limited in an alternate meal choice, and was only given a Bologna and cheese sandwich, nothing more, nothing less. The Communication from staffing to us, my mother's family was just as awful-- we hardly knew what was going on unless my father made the 45+ minute drive to see his wife in person. And when we were notified, it was last minute and incredibly vague. Sometimes even left us with more questions and answers. And the clincher, my mother saw just how negligible the people in this place can be. Her roommate, who was ill and bedridden, was NOT examined or asked any questions as to how she felt. Was only asked: "Do you want to stay in your bed today?" To which, she could HARDLY respond. Had only gone back to change her diaper, nothing else. Not until it became clear when the woman's family showed up she would need to be moved. Only THEN, did they TRULY evaluate the woman's poor condition. If you value your loved ones, DO NOT, for the love of God, DO NOT send them to this place. You are putting their well-being and lives into clearly, very incapable and negligent hands.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
