This place is not safe for the residents that are staying there, my grandpa was there for 3 days I had brought him the things he would need
And he was completely out of it come to find out they lost his clothes he had only shorts on the bed sheet was half way off the bed mind you he had hip surgery and he was 84 years old and he was half way on the bed and half way off and nobody seemed to care or help him the room was pretty cold didn’t care to find his clothes so he would be warm my mother went to complain about the situation and the social worker there or whoever it was didn’t know he was there till we addressed the issue needless to say don’t bring your loved ones here they won’t be taken care of properly it looks like an insane asylum , sadly my grandpa passed away a few days after ( not the facilities fault) but wished he was taken care of the way he deserved

I am writing to formally report serious concerns regarding the conditions at Casper Mountain Rehabilitation Center during my grandmother’s brief stay.

My grandmother was admitted to your facility on Tuesday, December 22. By the following day, December 23, our family made the decision to remove her from the center due to unacceptable and unsanitary conditions, as well as concerns for her safety and dignity.

Upon entering the facility, there was a strong and overwhelming odor of urine throughout the area. This alone was deeply concerning and not appropriate for a healthcare or rehabilitation environment. In addition, when my grandmother requested Kleenex, she was instead given toilet paper, which we found to be degrading and unacceptable for patient care.

Furthermore, the room provided was not handicap accessible. Given that this is a rehabilitation facility serving patients with mobility limitations, the lack of proper accessibility posed a serious safety concern and made it difficult for my grandmother to move comfortably and safely within her room.

Due to these conditions and concerns for her comfort, dignity, and well-being, we felt we had no choice but to remove her from the facility immediately.

Patients and their families should be able to expect a clean, safe, accessible, and respectful environment. Unfortunately, those basic standards were not met during my grandmother’s stay. I am sharing this feedback so these issues can be addressed and to help prevent other patients from experiencing similar conditions.

Residents first. Super staff. Good food. Excellent therapy program. Just a bit understaffed; but, who isn’t….? Oh… did I mention smoke breaks?!?

I would NEVER recommend this place to a single human being who I love! This place is severely understaffed But they seem to be accepting new Residents weekly And staff who clearly don’t care about their job. This place, literally sets their nurses and CNA for failure. My mom had to call 911 on herself the first night she was there because no one would come to her call light or to her screaming! It stuck her in a corner with no TV no lamp for light. For awhile they were Given her insulin without even checking her blood sugar. Then they have ran out of her medication and have to wait days for the doctor to approve that medication again so she’s able to take it again and not be in any pain. She has sat there and waited for hours before anyone ever came to check on her. If she’s getting this kind of care I can’t imagine People who are completely disabled and can’t even talk for themselves. They have absolutely no food plan for diabetics to keep their blood sugar under control They’ve lost important pieces to her wheelchair and never to be found again the list goes on. I don’t know how many phone calls of her crying Because of the care she’s receiving.

I was hoping to not have to come here for this rant. But, here I go… huge rant to Casper Mountain Rehabilitation Center. My 75 year old brother was placed there for approximately 5 weeks due to a fall and 5 broken ribs. Here’s the rant. His wallet was in his pants before it went to the laundry with only 100 cash but every piece of identification inside of it. His license, SS card, VA card, insurance card and his debit card, and a letter he has carried from our father since he was 12 years old. The inconvenience this has caused is immeasurable. He cannot access anything he needs because he has no ID’s!!!!

2 pairs of sweat pants missing
Carhart hoodie missing
2 zip up hoodies missing.

I personally have called 5 times asking for a return phone call starting 2 weeks ago.. I’m still waiting. My sister personally went there and that was a waste of time.

It’s pretty sad that our loved ones have to go to a facility but to have personal belongings missing is inexcusable.

The therapy he received was top notch and we are thankful for that. But I would make certain if you take your family there make certain they have all of their belongings before discharge.

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
