This facility was one of the worse places I have EVER had to visit. My husband was there a few months ago and he kept getting infections because the staff wasn't cleaning and changing his bandages properly. My husband fell there twice and he had to tell me he fell. The staff said nothing until I asked them about it. I tried speaking with management about the situations that kept occuring and all I was gave was excuses. Half of the staff there is rude and very uncaring about the people that live there or receive any treatment there. I wouldn't leave my worse enemy there. I even overheard nurses laughing and making jokes about certain patients there that hadn't received baths in months. If you have family members there Please check on them regularly because that place is horrible.

My mother who has dementia had a fall at home and she requires rehab. I am a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Rochester NY. My father asked my to help choose her rehab. We settled on Big Springs because they are a 4-star facility, staffed well and have an amazing rehab department. All nursing staff have been amazing and tentative to my mother‘s needs. Based on our experiences I would suggest Big Springs. My mom is safe, and receiving the care she needs to return home. Thank you to all the staff at Big Springs!

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
