As a former caregiver of several years I have seen a lot of nursing facilities and rehab. This is one of the cleanest and nicest facilities. It might not be the biggest and the newest but it certainly built itself a good reputation among local hospitals and medical professionals as a place that cares about it's patients and values the community it serves.

I recently had the experience of having my mom stay at Stonebrook Post Acute for a few weeks, and I can’t express enough gratitude for the wonderful care she received. The staff members were truly kind and showed genuine compassion throughout her stay.

The rehabilitation program was impressive, with her participating in exercises five times a week, which really helped her regain her strength and mobility. In just two weeks, she returned to her prior level of function, which was remarkable.

Additionally, the food was delicious, and the social workers went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for her return home, including coordinating a home aide.

As a senior care provider, we work closely with many skilled nursing facilities and see a wide range of care environments. Through our work, we also support clients who move in and out of different facilities, so we hear firsthand feedback from families and residents. Hands down, Stonebrook Skilled Nursing stands out as having one of the strongest reputations for quality care in the area.

What sets Stonebrook apart is its people. The staff we have engaged with are consistently warm and approachable. Many team members have been with Stonebrook for decades, which speaks volumes about the culture, leadership, and continuity of care. That kind of longevity is rare and incredibly important in a care setting. From their admissions and social work team to their directors of nursing and rehab, you can tell this is not just a job for them, they really seem to love what they do.

Our clients who have stayed at Stonebrook regularly share positive experiences, and it is clear they feel supported and respected. Stonebrook’s five-star rating on Medicare.gov further reflects the quality of care, strong clinical outcomes, and low staff turnover. While the building may not be the flashiest, the heart of the care absolutely shines through. Stonebrook is a place where residents are really cared for.

My auntie stayed here for about 3 weeks and staff was kind and accommodating. The therapy staff is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to work with you. Sometimes when my aunt wasn't feeling up to it during her scheduled time, they would check back later to see if she was up for it. She also said the food was the best part!

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
What to do next
Data is a starting point, not a final answer. We encourage families to visit facilities in person, observe daily routines, and speak with staff and residents. See our guide: Questions to Ask When Visiting →
