I had many concerns about my mother in a skilled nursing facility, and I'm grateful that the folks at Hillcrest made her month-long stay such a positive and healing experience. She got wonderful care and physical therapy, and the staff is knowledgeable, kind, patient, and responsive. Beyond excellent nursing care and physical therapy, the staff's support was hugely helpful in getting her to doctors' appointments, navigating her meds, and providing encouragement after a tough fall and through a lot of pain. They made our transition to home care possible. It's an old hospital with sometimes-tight quarters, but my mom's experience at Hillcrest was a clear reminder that it's great staff that makes all the difference in helping people heal. If my mom ever again needs skilled nursing, we would both absolutely choose Hillcrest.

Been visiting patients there for years. Clean, well organised, with caring and friendly staff. Admin folks are great, too. When I need something to help my hospice services, they are on it.<br>FMS III Sonoma County

About this data
How to read this page
Star ratings vs. Care Quality Score: The Google star rating reflects visitor and family opinions collected from public reviews. The Care Quality Score is an independent metric derived entirely from federal inspection data — the two measure different things, and comparing them side-by-side gives a fuller picture.
Where this data comes from
All clinical data on this page originates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that certifies and inspects every Medicare- and Medicaid-participating nursing home in the United States. Reviews are imported verbatim from public Google business listings.
What to do next
Data is a starting point, not a final answer. We encourage families to visit facilities in person, observe daily routines, and speak with staff and residents. See our guide: Questions to Ask When Visiting →
